Key exchange unit
The Key Exchange Unit (KEU) is a mechanical device used in processes where the repeated use of keys must be avoided to ensure the safe operation of the process. It holds keys and allows the insertion of operation keys into the KEU and subsequently releasing another key for further use in the linear sequence of the process operation.
Salient Features:
- Custom Design: Designed to hold and release multiple keys as needed offering flexibility and adaptability to different process scenarios.
- Material: Manufactured from high-quality Stainless Steel (SS 316).
- Robust Construction: Built to withstand the demands of industrial environments ensuring reliability and longevity.
- User-Friendly: Simple and easy to use by operators.
- Enhanced Safety: Prevents the misuse of keys reducing the risk of accidents or errors during the operation.
Functionality
- Key Management: The KEU efficiently manages keys within a process and ensures that the repeated use of key avoided maintaining operational safety.
- Secure Holding: Keys are securely held within the KEU unit until they are needed for the next stage of the process.
- Release Mechanism: Upon insertion of a multiple-operation key the KEU releases the required single-operation key or vice versa allowing for seamless progress in the linear sequence of the process operation.
